Your teaser hede said when the recorder “fails.” Heck, it’s SO much more stressful when you didn’t/couldn’t take ANY notes at all and then realize you just screwed yourself because you also forgot to hit the “on” button than it is when you intentionally don’t bring a machine. Definitely showing this to my teacher at school, who believes that is “lazy journalism” to use a recorder. I argue that my quotes are more accurate when I use one…. he doesn’t agree with me.
